VISUAL ART FOR THE REST OF US
B. 1988 WA USA. Wrobel is a political multi-process visual artist, essayist, poet, and gender theorist. They focus on generating artifacts and deploying personal observations and lived experiences as a fat, transmasculine, afab, person living with depression. Wrobel uses their abstract “line-study” paintings to engage in processes that mimic experience through accumulation; while their illustrative work, conversely focuses on figurative-futurist-abstraction rooted in gender neutrality, body acceptance and possibility. They currently live and work in Santa Fe, NM.
